Caley and Bliss Promoted to Clinical Professors
Lisa Bliss and Sylvia Caley (M.B.A. ’86, J.D. ’89) were both promoted to the rank of clinical professor. Caley is the co-director of the Health Law Partnership and co-director of the HeLP Legal Services Clinic. Caley’s expertise is in the intersection of law and poverty. In addition to HeLP and the clinic, Caley teaches Health Legislation and Advocacy, a policy course where students are paired with community partners to research and draft legislative solutions to real-world problems.
Bliss is the co-director of the HeLP Legal Services Clinic and the director of experiential education. She writes and presents on best practices in clinical and other practical legal skills, as well as interdisciplinary education, and she has trained law professors across the United States and internationally.
In extending well-deserved congratulations to Bliss and Caley, Dean Steven J. Kaminshine said, “We are fortunate to have such talented professors on our faculty, contributing their exceptional leadership, clinical teaching and scholarship.”
