SHLA Hosts Happy Hour at Front Page News
ATLANTA – Starting law school can be a major adjustment. Between class, papers, exams, and internships, students can easily become overwhelmed and forget to relax. Recognizing this, the Student Health Law Association (SHLA) gathered on Wednesday, September 12, at Front Page News, to provide a forum for new students to meet and relax with veteran health law students.
This evening get-together represented just one of the many ways that SHLA strives to bring new law students together with other students and attorneys. In further efforts this year, SHLA is also continuing its mentorship program, in which students will be paired with Atlanta health law attorneys and offered an opportunity to start or expand their professional network.
To learn more about how to become a mentor or to get involved with SHLA, please contact the SHLA President, Greg Fosheim, at [email protected].
